Boxfish Robotics at Marine Imaging Workshop 2024
The Marine Imaging Workshop is an important event for the marine science community, thats covers a wide range of topics, from image collection and processing to annotation and data management….
Each year Boxfish Robotics takes on several university engineering students as interns. It is a chance for them to gain practical experience in a real-life work environment while providing us with an extra pair of hands. We allow the interns to put their knowledge into practice in a production company and gain new skills.
Toby Ryder, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Auckland, joined us as an intern during the summer of 2021-22. We interviewed Toby for feedback about his internship experience and what he learned during his time at Boxfish. Watch the video to find out more.
Thanks, Toby. We enjoyed having you as a Boxfish intern and wish you all the best with your studies!
