Boxfish Robotics at Marine Imaging Workshop 2024
The Marine Imaging Workshop is an important event for the marine science community, thats covers a wide range of topics, from image collection and processing to annotation and data management….
We’re sharing a digital holiday treat to thank our customers, partners, and supporters. Using Boxfish ROV footage from locations as diverse as Antarctica, the Northwest Passage and Tahiti, we’ve created underwater screen backgrounds of dreamy icescapes, playful seals, orcas feeding, circling sharks and colourful pufferfish.
Another whirlwind year is almost over, and Christmas is here! This year has been a bit of a mixed bag for everyone, and we’re hoping for a calmer and more positive 2022 globally. Like many businesses during lockdowns, we’ve become adept at video meetings, with staff working at home and on-site meeting digitally. It’s been entertaining to see the range of virtual backgrounds in use with occasional image glitches. We’ve decided to celebrate the seasonal holidays a little bit differently this year with that in mind. Hence, our digital holiday share!
From the Boxfish team, Season’s Greetings and Happy Holidays! We hope you enjoy your virtual backgrounds*, and perhaps we’ll see you in an online meeting soon. Thank you for your ongoing support and a big thank you to our partners Regina Eisert, Top Predators Alliance NZ, and Tahiti Private Expeditions Website for being part of this project and sharing their ROV footage.
